Dr. Amit Jain

Dr. Amit is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist with a focused interest in the diagnosis, management, and long-term care of children with both benign and malignant hematological disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, bone marrow failure syndromes, and inherited blood disorders.

As a bone marrow transplant physician, he specializes in performing transplants for both malignant and non-malignant hematological conditions, with a particular emphasis on individualized patient care and optimizing transplant outcomes. He has undergone advanced training, completing fellowships in pediatric hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplantation at the CTC, Borivali centre, where he gained extensive experience in managing complex pediatric cases.

Over the years, he has successfully established his patient practice in Mumbai’s western suburbs, providing comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, chemotherapy, and transplant services. His academic contributions include authoring published clinical guidelines, writing chapters in medical textbooks, and publishing articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

He remains committed to advancing pediatric hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplantation through a combination of high-quality clinical care, academic research, and patient education.

Dr. Amit is currently a consultant in pediatric hematology-oncology and bone marrow transplantation at SunAct Cancer Institute and P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai. Previously, he served as a consultant at the MCGM–Comprehensive Thalassemia Care, Pediatric Hematology Oncology and BMT Centre, Mumbai, following roles as Senior Registrar and Fellow in pediatric hematology-oncology at the same institute. His pediatric foundation was built during his postgraduate residency in the department of pediatrics at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai.
